Shannon Riggs and her cousins were famished after attending a Donald Trump rally last week in Richmond, Va., so they decided to drop by Cook Out – a regional restaurant chain known for its tasty burgers.

The group was decked out in Trump swag – from T-shirts to those iconic red hats emblazoned with the campaign’s slogan: “Make America Great Again.”

DEMOCRAT INSIDER: HILLARY FEARS HEAD TO HEAD BATTLE WITH TRUMP

During an appearance on Fox News this morning, Marsh asserted that Trump would have enough backing to secure the Republican nomination even if the race was decided at a contested convention.

She then explained why Hillary sees Trump as the most “dangerous candidate,” despite polls which show the New York billionaire has a high unfavorables rating.

I’ve consistently said throughout the analysis of this race that I would not want to run against Donald Trump because I think he’s the most dangerous candidate,” said Marsh.

“Give me Ted Cruz, give me John Kasich, give me any of the vanquished they’re traditional politicians, easy to beat. And, Ted Cruz, in particular, way outside the mainstream.”

“Donald Trump, when you look from what he said the other day about the gender bill and using the bathrooms, it proves that point because he knows how to appeal to not only Libertarians but to Independents who support that, too. So it will be a very, very tough candidate to face in a general election. I think it will be one of the closest elections we see since 2000.”

Maine Republican Governor Paul LePage  endorsed Donald Trump for president in February before the Maine primary caucus.

Cruz won the state with 12 delegates. Trump was second with 9 delegates followed by John Kasich with 2 delegates.

This week the Cruz campaign, like they’ve done is several states, are cheating and stealing delegates from Trump at the state convention.

VA GOV GIVES 200,000 FELONS VOTING RIGHTS; ‘MOVE TO BOOST CLINTON’

Gov. Terry McAuliffe signed an executive order Friday restoring the voting rights of 206,000 ex-felons, a sweeping action the governor said was aimed largely at rectifying Virginia’s “long and sad history” of suppressing African-American voting power.

The move, coming in a presidential election year, outraged Republicans who accused McAuliffe of abusing his power to help longtime ally Hillary Clinton win a battleground state by putting more likely Democratic voters on the books.

The governor’s order applies to all violent and nonviolent felons who had finished their sentence and supervised release as of Friday, even those who have not applied for a restoration of rights. Previous Virginia governors have restored rights on an individual basis, but none has done it for an entire category of offenders with one pen stroke.

RNC Rules Committee Member: “If Trump Gets 1,237 Delegates, That Doesn’t Mean He’ll be Nominee” (VIDEO)

Curly Haugland, a longstanding RNC official and an unbound delegate from North Dakota who will be on the convention rules committee in July, told CNBC that attaining 1,237 during the primaries does not secure the nomination.

“Even if Trump reaches the magic number of 1,237 the media and RNC are touting, that does not mean Trump is automatically the nominee,” Haugland said. “The votes earned during the primary process are only estimates and are not legal convention votes. The only official votes to nominate a candidate are those that are cast from the convention floor.”
