A satire of the wildly popular “Pokèmon Go” mobile gaming app, Trump’s “Crookèd Hillary No” video shows Clinton being caught alongside his “Make America Great Again” slogan.
Once caught, stats featured next to the Crookèd Hillary creature reveal the Democratic candidate’s controversial background.
The Pokèmon type is listed as “Career Politician” while the number “30,000” is listed next to “Emails Deleted,” a description reads.
“Often found lying to the American people, rigging the system, and sharing TOP SECRET emails.”
According to the video, Crookèd Hillary’s next evolution – a term referring to a Pokèmon’s transformation into a stronger creature – will be “Unemployment.”
At the time of publishing, Clinton has yet to respond to the viral video.
Contrary to popular belief, the invasion and occupation of any particular nation is not a mere exercise of military might. It also, by necessity, involves the destruction or overrunning and eventual replacement of all the above mentioned institutions.
The most extreme modern-day example of this was the US invasion of Iraq, where Iraqi institutions from top to bottom were either entirely destroyed and replaced, or taken over by the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA). The CPA was literally headed by an American, Paul Bremer, who, far from being a military man, was instead drawn from the US State Department and a background of chairing corporate-financier boards of directors.
The CPA assumed responsibility for all aspects of life in Iraq, from the privatization of Iraq’s economy, to “reconstruction,” to reorganizing the nation socially, politically, and economically.
“This slogan is most associated with aviator Charles Lindbergh, who spent a great deal of time in the late 1930s gushing at how wonderful the Third Reich was,” writes the journalist.
Trump’s vow to “always put the interests of the American people first” is akin to “American neutrality towards the Nazis,” according to Lake.’
This is just the latest example of the media’s lazy, reductive propaganda that relies heavily on smear and the logical fallacy of false equivalence.
Trump is popular. Hitler was popular. Therefore Trump = Hitler.
Trump promises to look out for America’s best interests. Hitler promised to look out for Germany’s best interests. Therefore Trump = Hitler.
Of course, the same could be said for innumerable presumptive political leaders throughout history, the vast majority of whom never turned into Hitler.
Having only one uterus to fill and one fetus at a time, women gain no evolutionary advantage from being promiscuous. They’re far less likely to cheat.
Turns out that’s not exactly true.
Studies show that when women are hooked up to a lie detector and are assured their answers will remain confidential, a different story emerges.
The truth is that the number of sexual partners had by women virtually equals that of men.
In post 9/11 America, criminals in government don’t get punished — those who expose their crimes get punished.
This appears to be what’s happening in Pennsylvania where there is a bi-partisan war on the attorney general for firing prosecutors caught with child porn who had also dragged their feet on the Jerry Sandusky investigation.
Mozzarella cheese at Panera restaurants won’t be as glaringly white. Banana peppers in Subway sandwiches won’t be the same exact shade of yellow. Trix cereal will have two fewer colors.
Food makers are purging their products of artificial dyes as people increasingly eschew anything in their food they don’t feel is natural. But replicating the vivid colors Americans expect with ingredients like beets and carrots isn’t always easy
